Here are five sweet treats for your Easter celebration. All are easy to make and fun for the kids to help you create.

Krispie Treat Carrots. Your kids will eat their vegetables when the carrots are really Rice Krispie treats. Cut purchased Rice Krispie treats into carrot shapes and dip in melted candy chips and you’re pretty much done. What a great treat for a school party!

Five Beautiful Easter Crafts Perfect for Decorating

By Monterey Bay Parent Editors | February 28, 2017

Decorating for Easter is twice as much fun if you create the decorations using one or more of our pretty ideas. Depending on your mess threshold, you may want to have the kids help. Each of these crafts can be adjusted depending on the ages of your children and they all use easily found craft items.

1. Shaving Cream Marbled Easter Eggs. These pretty eggs are easy even for toddlers to make if you do the prep work ahead of time. The supplies are easy enough to gather and the result is pretty enough to hang. Once you learn the technique, you can use it for all sorts of shapes that can be used throughout the year and for different holidays.

2. Yarn Easter Eggs. These are as messy as can be to make so you may want to limit this craft to older kids. But the results are so pretty that you may not mind that mess! Make smaller eggs and you can string them to make a garland. Group a few larger eggs together for a centerpiece.

3.  Beaded Easter Eggs. These beautiful beaded eggs are the perfect centerpiece or decoration for Easter. A handful of them in a glass bowl is all you need for a sparkly Easter.

4. Galaxy Easter Eggs. These gorgeous eggs require a little bit of practice and a little bit of artistic skill but the end result is so worth it. You also need a little patience to allow colors to dry completely between each coat for the best result.

5. Easter Bunny Wreath. A styrofoam circle, bunny ears, and cheap white boas are all you need to create this adorable bunny wreath. A sweet decoration for a child’s bedroom door!
