This summer, students can enjoy free lunches through Monterey Peninsula Unified School District’s Summer Meal Program, a free service open to all kids ages 18 and under. Lunch will be provided to all children and teens. There are no enrollment, paperwork or income qualifications required to participate. Drop in is welcome. The program will be run at the following sites and dates below. Please note the specific date offerings, as well as the dates of no service due to federal or state holidays (June 19 for Juneteenth and July 4 for the Fourth of July holidays). The Summer Meal Program ensures all children have access to meals during the summer months when they are not able to eat at school. Moreover, the program helps ensure kids return to school healthy and ready to learn.
You’ll receive a weekly event newsletter, be first to see our monthly issue, and get advance notice of contests, events, and more. It’s all free, of course.
