Unleashing Creativity Through Film & Digital Photography
This fall and spring, The Weston Collective will present the Wednesday Community Youth Photography Program, tailored for 6th–12th grade students in Monterey County. Over 37 classes, participants will explore the fundamentals of photography—from composition and lighting to both film and digital techniques.
When: Wednesdays, 3:30 – 5:30 pm
Where: The Weston Collective Studio, Seaside, CA
Price: $500 (financial assistance available upon request)
Schedule:
Fall 2025 (17 sessions): Aug 13 – Dec 17
Spring 2026 (20 sessions): Jan 7 – Jun 3
Students will learn hands-on with cameras, process film, develop black‑and‑white prints in the darkroom, and master digital editing tools. Whether budding shutterbugs or curious beginners, participants will build a solid photographic foundation.
