It’s July 4th week, and that means it’s time for one of Monterey’s favorite holiday traditions: the 10th Annual Old Fashioned Pancake Breakfast, hosted by MY Museum and your local Monterey firefighters.
Head to Fire Station #11 in downtown Monterey on the morning of the 4th for warm, fluffy pancakes, eggs, sausage, fruit, and all the fixings, plus coffee from East Village. While you eat, the kids can enjoy fire truck tours, family photo opportunities, live music, and a chance to watch Fire Station 11’s firefighters trade their gear for spatulas and flip hundreds (maybe thousands) of pancakes. MY Museum’s popular Wheelie Mobilee will also be on site with hands-on family fun.
Proceeds from the event benefit MY Museum and the Monterey Firefighters Community Foundation, both 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving Monterey County families.
Please note: MY Museum will be closed on Saturday, July 4th, so staff and volunteers can celebrate with the community at the Pancake Breakfast.
