Adventures in Writing Camp is a two-week day camp that allows elementary campers to write, edit, and publish their own eBooks, and middle-schoolers to create their own podcasts. Campers learn and create under the guidance of credentialed teachers, musicians, and authors. Lessons are delivered as songs. New writing skills are practiced by writing (family-friendly) rap songs. Camp hours are 9 am – 3 pm, with extended care from 8-9 am and 3-5 pm. Open to students entering grades 1-8.
There’s something for every child to explore and enjoy at the All Saints Summer Day Camps. Little Saints Camps are open to children 3–5 and offer playful activities, creative crafts, outdoor fun, and themed adventures. K–7 Specialty Camps include art, theater, music, baking, sports camps, and school readiness workshops. An optional Clover Camp from 12 – 3 pm is also available.
Kids ages 6-14 are energized with the enthusiasm they’ll feel at both our co-ed and all-girls youth basketball camps hosted in Carmel and Salinas. Basketball Jones inspires a love for the game through team competitions, group activities, counselor skits, individual skill development exercises and positive motivational speakers. Monday-Friday, 8 am-4 pm.
Camp SEA Lab offers marine science summer camps for ages 8-16. Options include three Day Camp themes, three Overnight Camp themes and an overnight Voyage Seaward Sailing and Marine Science program. Explore the wonders of the Monterey Bay through hands-on marine science education.
Carmel Valley Athletic Club is offering a summer filled with adventure, learning, and fun with diverse camp offerings including Kids’ Camp for ages 5-8. Each week features an exciting theme designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Tennis Camp is open to ages 5-11 and Splash Camp is for ages 5-11.
Catalina C.U.B. Camp provides boys entering grades 4-8 with opportunities for adventure, skill-building, leadership development, and personal growth through hands-on activities. The program focuses on Courage, Unity, and Brotherhood, essential characteristics for strong and thoughtful boys.
Chartwell School’s Extended School Year Summer Program is academically focused and open to any student who would benefit from specialized instruction as well as those who would like to maintain progress achieved over the preceding academic year. Designed to reinforce and build upon each student’s literacy, math, and STEAM skills, the program offers hands-on activities that spark imagination and curiosity.
Monterey Recreation offers fun and diverse summer camps, sports and playground programs for youth of all ages to learn, have fun, exercise and meet others in an organized and supervised environment. Programs and camps offered include Whispering Pines Day Camp (ages 5-9), Camp Quien Sabe Youth Overnight Camp (ages 7-15), Summer Fun Playground Program (ages 5-10) and Tiny Tots Summer Camp (ages 3-5). Specialty sports camps , dance, art, and LEGO® camps also available.
Camps are available for kids entering 1st-6th grade. Offering traditional summer camp and sports camps, featuring team-building exercises and a variety of activities, creating an inclusive, supportive environment where every camper can thrive.
Classical Academy is a day school located in del Rey Oaks offering academic summer camps. for rising K students and for children in 1-4 grades.
Summer camps at The Dance Center in Carmel (TDC) offer a wide range of options for the recreational or experienced dancer. Themed weekly dance camps include an option for half or full day. The Dance Center also offers a weekly summer class session for ages 12 months-18 yrs, available in one 5-week session or by week in a block schedule (level dependent).
Kids can have fun while learning piano this summer. One-week camps are from 9 am to 12 pm Monday through Friday in Pacific Grove. Open to kids ages 7-12, new beginners through intermediate. No piano at home is necessary to attend.
FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES SUMMER CAMPS
FCA 2025 summer camps includes a multi-sport youth camp for K-5th and 6-8th grades. Campers will spend 3 days learning new skills, rules, strategy and conditioning. A 3-day surf camp is open to ages 6 and up with wetsuits and boards provided.
The Horse Camps (full-day, ages 7+) and Pony Camps (half-day, ages 5 & 6) are back.Exciting themed camps like Superhero Training, Zombie Apocalypse Survival, Vet Camp, and hands-on camps like science, and arts also available.
Camps are open to boys and girls ages 7-14. Each day will consist of play, instruction, practice, on course time, games and of course snacks. As the camp progresses students have the opportunity to take their skills to the course where instructors and assistants help optimize the golfers’ game. Course management and etiquette are stressed.
Use the summer wisely to keep your child’s math skills sharp or help them catch up. Mathnasium’s Summer Program prevents learning loss and builds confidence, ensuring a strong start to the next school year.
At MEarth, your camper will become a junior environmental steward by taking care of the garden using organic methods, cooking fresh meals and snacks with produce harvested from the garden, exploring the natural world of our beautiful habitat, and creating unique crafts utilizing items collected from the land we protect.
Kids ages 8-13 will dive into a watery world of wonder in our summer Underwater Explorers program. During this 90-minute program they’ll get the experience of taking a surface SCUBA dive in our Great Tide Pool, just off the Aquarium’s back deck. In this unique program, kids will see the ocean like never before and make lasting memories as they connect to marine life. No diving experience or equipment is needed — just a sense of wonder.
MONTEREY JAZZ FESTIVAL’S SUMMER JAZZ CAMP
Middle and high school instrumentalists and vocalists of all skill levels are welcomed to join this intensive and immersive jazz camp. Students will study and perform with our nationally and internationally acclaimed faculty members as well as Monterey Jazz’s new Artistic Director, Darin Atwater as a special guest faculty.
MONTEREY PENINSULA COLLEGE SUMMER CAMPS
Whether your camper is into STEM, sports, or visual and performing arts, there’s something to spark every interest. Led by expert college faculty, these camps provide hands-on learning, skill-building, and the chance to make lifelong friends.
The Monterey Sports Center offers camp for ages 6-12 years old. The camp takes advantage of the 3 court gymnasium, large lap pool, small therapy pool, and Jacks Park to create a safe, fun, and innovative experience for campers. Twenty different activities are available including basketball, floor hockey, wiffle ball, soccer, and flag football.
MONTEREY STATE HISTORIC PARK | LOS EXPLORADORES DE MONTEREY SUMMER CAMP
Campers will experience Monterey’s historical buildings and colorful gardens through hands-on activities such as period games, crafts, songs & dances, nature observation, and interactive guided tours with additional outings to experience some fun attractions of Monterey that exist today. Sessions are available in June and July for students entering grades 3-6, located at various sites throughout Monterey State Historic Park in downtown Monterey.
The Monterey Zoo summer camp is a week-long adventure that encourages young people to appreciate and gain a better understanding of wildlife through interaction with the animals as well as games, arts and crafts, lectures, demonstrations and other activities. All campers receive a camp T-shirt , a group and individual photograph with a zoo animal. Camp is designed for children between the ages of 7-12, and runs daily for a week, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
The City of Pacific Grove is offering a variety of youth camps, recreational programs and swim instruction. Summer highlights include Summer Adventure Camps for preschool and school age youth, STEM & Engineering Camps, Lego Camps, Dance Camp & Classes, Swim Instruction for tots and school age youth, and much more!
PACREP’S PEPPY GARNER & DARNELL WHITT SCHOOL OF DRAMATIC ARTS SUMMER CAMPS
SoDA camps offer quality training, in a wide variety of theatre skills, in a safe and nurturing environment. Students explore and expand their talents, learning to express themselves on stage, as they build confidence and self-esteem.
Campers will participate in a variety of activities including gymnastics training, ninja circuits, trampoline, games, relays, crafts, outdoor play and more. Offering half day Junior Camps for ages 3-5 Monday through Thursday from 9am-12pm. Full day Summer Camps for ages 5-12 on Monday through Friday from 9am-3pm for ages 5-12.
Summer dance camps are open to ages 3-6 and held from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm daily. Two camp sessions available: June 30-July 3 and July 7-10.
Cougar Camp is a day camp for boys and girls entering grades K-6 that provides daily experiential classes, free swim, fun group activities, and a local field trip each week. One-week sessions are offered in August.
For rising Grades K-4, a vibrant, activity-filled day camp with creative arts, outdoor adventures, hands-on science, group games and more. Campers get the chance to do everything they love and discover new passions along the way.
STEVENSON: THE CAMP AT PEBBLE BEACH
If you’re looking for a summer filled with excitement and discovery for your rising Grades 5-8 children, look no further. Campers can come for day camp or spend the night, and enjoy enrichment workshops, athletics and more. New: Specialty camps in entrepreneurship, AI, innovation and foreign language.
Summer at Santa Catalina is an all-girls camp for grades 2-9 featuring 1-week and 2-week options as well as a 5-week musical theatre program. With a wide variety of classes like marine biology, art, ceramics, dance, surfing, volleyball, and more, along with fun off-campus excursions.
Groups of 8-23 participants and 2-4 staff. Discovery Camp, Outdoor Leadership Training, Wee Ones in the Woods, and more for ages 4-16 depending on camp.
