Wildflower Wonder: Journaling Nature in Carmel Valley

Slow down and notice the quiet beauty of wildflowers through nature journaling as a gentle, creative practice. You’ll spend time observing nature up close—sketching, writing, and recording sensory details in a relaxed “sensory scrapbook” style. No prior art or science experience is needed. All levels are welcome. Instructor: Melinda Nakagawa, MSc., Naturalist and Nature Journaling Mentor. Ages 12-Adult. Garland Park Visitor Center, Carmel Valley. Elevation change: 400 ft.
