Santa Cruz Wharf: 34th Annual Aloha Outrigger Races

The Pu Pu ‘O Hawaii Outrigger Club is ready to race! These short-course outrigger races are designed especially for the new or novice paddlers. Come out and support the racers as well as enjoy hula performances by Kūhai Hālau O Mehanakealohakalaua’eikapoli Pā ‘Ōlapa Kahiko.
Event Schedule
– Check in will be at 8AM
– Paddle Tips at: 8:45AM
– First Race at 9AM
– Last Race at 12PM
– Awards will follow last race between 12PM-1PM
To watch and enjoy is free! To enter a 4-person aged 12 and up team is $150. They will give you all the equipment your team needs plus a person to set the stroke and another person to steer for your team. They will get your team T-shirts, and give you instruction enough to get racing!
