Día de los Muertos at Castro State Historic Park

The Castro Adobe State Historic Park will celebrate Día de los Muertos with a special community Open House featuring live music, family activities, local traditions and a special folklórico performance by Estrellas de Esperanza at 12:00 p.m.

Through traditional folklórico dance, the group celebrates Mexican heritage while bringing together history, tradition and community at one of

California’s best-preserved two-story adobes from the Mexican Rancho period.

Visitors are invited to explore the 176-year-old Castro Adobe hacienda, while learning about life on Rancho San Andrés. Knowledgeable docents will be on hand to answer your questions.
