The program, operated by the Salinas Valley Health Foundation, provides grants for children (infancy to age 19) in Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito counties to cover medically beneficial equipment and services not covered by insurance. The program funds items such as mobility devices, hearing aids, and specialized therapies.
Children’s Miracle Network at Salinas Valley Health Foundation is proud to offer a special program for children in need of medical equipment or services that are not otherwise covered by insurance. Parents, guardians, and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) of children up to age 19 that live in Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito Counties, are eligible to apply. Application requirements include income verification, a letter of medical benefit from a licensed care provider, and a completed application form. Eligibility expires on the child’s 20th birthday.
