Kayla Myers was born and raised on the peninsula. After attending Hartnell College she started her career as a Veterinary Technician. She got married in 2016 and embarked on a year of travel with her husband and their pets. Once they returned home they started their family and moved to Carmel Valley. She is now a children’s author, freelance writer and mother of two adventurous toddlers. She is an avid camper and nature enthusiast. Kayla has a passion for learning through play, caring for animals and teaching her children the magic of the great outdoors. She loves encouraging other families to explore and connect with nature.
