MPC Theatre Arts presents Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka

MPC Theatre Arts is excited to return to the Morgan Stock Stage with Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka April 4-21!

Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka follows enigmatic candy manufacturer, Willy Wonka, as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats: the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka's rules in the factory... or suffer the consequences.

MPC's production of Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka aims to create a modern rendition of this classic story, built for the audiences of today. Willy Wonka features multi-media presentation, Hunger Games style characters, immersive theatre stylizations, and live music that will create an atmosphere full of theatrical magic. The show is recommended for children ages 6 and older and will be an excellent experience for the whole family.

Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.
