Open to kids ages 7-12, new beginners through intermediate. No prior musical experience necessary, and a piano at home is not required.
Musical S.T.E.M.
Discover the harmony between music and science!
Join us as we build a banana piano, listen to screaming balloons and marvel at dancing salt! All while learning to play the piano :)
June 12-16, 9am-12pm.
Flip the Lid!
Learn about the piano inside and out.
Come and open up the lid of the piano to discover how to make new sounds, and about the minuscule details that make up this beautiful instrument. A special visit from a piano technician will show us how the piano comes apart. June 26-30, 9am-12pm.
Pura Vida!
Explore the music and culture of Costa Rica.
Learning about the world we live in through another culture, language, and music invites us to think differently. Come explore Costa Rica! July 24-28, 9am-12pm.
Summer Book Blast!
For brand new beginners and students that already play, this camp is an accelerated track designed to make as much progress as possible in a short period of time. Students will fly through their method books, play musical games, and make music with new friends! Whether you already play, or if you've always wanted to learn the piano, this camp gives you a jump-start! June 19-23; July 5-7; and July 17-21, 9am-12pm.
Emma holds a Bachelor of Music Performance degree from Indiana University, and a Master of Music Performance degree from The Juilliard School. Her primary instrument is percussion, with secondary studies in piano.
She has performed with major symphony orchestras such as the Phoenix Symphony and the Singapore Symphony, and in concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Mariinsky Theatre (Russia), Esterhazy Palace (Austria) and many, many others.
