Youth Mental Health First Aid Certification

Youth Mental Health First Aid is a skills-based training that teaches parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and any other citizen how to identify, understand, and respond to an adolescent (ages 12-18) who may be experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge. Program participants commit to completing a 2-hour, self-paced, independent study module followed by a 6-hour, online, instructor-led training on Friday, September 2nd from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm. Spaces are limited to 30 participants. The course fee is $85 with discounts and scholarships available. Deadline to apply is August 31, 2022.
