Young Birders Club September Field Trip - Coastal Cleanup Day

Join the Monterey Audubon Society’s Young Birders Club for a bird walk at Carmel River State Beach, then help the birds by picking up trash for California Coastal Cleanup Day! We can expect to see fun shorebirds, ducks, coots, and lots of seagulls. We'll bring binoculars and field guides, you bring comfy shoes to wear while walking in the sand. Additional waiver/registration will be needed for participating in Coastal Cleanup Day activity, which can be filled out at the beach. Prizes will be awarded for most trash collected (by weight) and weirdest trash item found!
