Join a community of researchers\, innovators\, artists\, and ocean advocates for an exciting day of talks and panels on art\, science and sustainability\, hands-on activities\, seaweed tastings\, and live entertainment! \nThis is a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to learn about seaweed conservation\, while celebrating the magnificent biodiversity of the marine ecosystems in Monterey. Also featured are local vendors showcasing their craftsmanship and exhibitors presenting the latest in marine science and technology\, as well as photo opportunities with mermaids! \nThe California Seaweed Festival is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Each year\, the festival moves to a different location along the coast in order to craft a unique experience for each community.
