The first 200 families to submit a completed passport will also receive a free lunch tote\, perfect for summer picnics. \nThe celebration will take place on the lawn and Pacific Street in front of Colton Hall\, with the street closed to traffic so families can safely enjoy the festivities. Expect an afternoon of giveaways\, entertainment\, community partners\, face painting\, magic\, and activities for all ages. \nOriginally built in 1849\, Colton Hall is one of Monterey’s most historic landmarks and served as the site of California’s first constitutional convention. Today\, its beautiful lawn in the heart of downtown provides the perfect setting for a community gathering.
