Earth Day Celebration
to
Natividad Creek Park 1395 Nogal Drive, Salinas, California 93905
ome celebrate Earth Day with Return of the Natives and the Salinas Valley Solid Waste Authority! On April 22nd, we will meet at Natividad Creek Park for a day of service and fun! Ongoing restoration efforts by volunteers at Natividad Creek Park have made this a thriving and beautiful community park and healthy wildlife habitat! We will also host an Eco Egg Hunt for our younger volunteers to learn more about their local environment!
Volunteers are invited to help keep this habitat clean and healthy for people and wildlife by picking up trash, pruning trees and shrubs, and pulling harmful invasive weeds. Everyone is welcome! Volunteers are needed! A great family activity that is FREE. Tools, snacks, and water provided. Bring your community service forms to get hours.
Directions: From Laurel Drive turn on Constitution Blvd. and drive past the Safeway shopping center. At Freedom Pkwy turn right. Turn right onto Nogal Drive and the entrance to the park is on the right. Sign in with us at the picnic tables near the playground.
