Please join Community Human Services and Gathering for Women in celebrating two successful years of helping women and families experiencing homelessness change their paths and build stronger futures.

We want to thank you, our supportive community, who have helped make this all possible.

Two years ago, we opened Monterey Peninsula's first "housing first" shelter for homeless women and families with children – Casa de Noche Buena in Seaside.

This event will feature keynote speaker CSUMB President Dr. Vanya Quinones, a virtual tour of the facility, and the personal testimony of a former guest-turned-employee of Casa. We are also proud to bring you the opportunity to hear Monterey County's McKinney-Vento Coordinator, Dr. Donna Smith, and Monterey County Supervisor Wendy Root Askew speak on our community's homeless crisis.
