Carmel Valley - First Saturday Event - Rescuing Carmel River Steelhead

Due to the Labor Day holiday, September’s First Saturday event will be held on the second Saturday of September – September 9, 2023! The topic for this First Saturday is “Rescuing Carmel River Steelhead”. The presenter is Steve Park, the President of the Carmel Valley Steelhead Association. Steve Park met his first steelhead in the 1990’s and says that experience changed his fishing life! Steve’s been leading the Steelhead Association for the last three years. He now leads efforts to save this threaten fishery. Seating and parking are limited, so it is highly suggested you arrive early for the best seats and carpool.
