BY THE BAY KIDS 3K

Lovers Point Park, Monterey, CA

The By The Bay Kids 3K is a Running race in Monterey, California consisting of a Kids Run/Fun Run and 3K.

START & COURSE: Lovers Point Park in Pacific Grove

The 3K will begin in five waves. Participant bibs will be color coded to accommodate these waves. Anyone with a child in a stroller should plan in starting with the fifth (last) wave.

The 3K begins and ends at Lovers Point Park in Pacific Grove. It is an out-and-back course, with the out portion run on the ocean lane, and the back portion on the inland lane.

PACKET PICK-UP:

Registered participants may pick up their bib and event shirt at the Health & Fitness Expo at the Monterey Conference Center. Hours are noon to 6:00 PM. There is also race morning pick-up beginning at 6:30 AM at Lovers Point Park near the start of the 3K.

Participants in the Schools' Competition may make special arrangements for a bulk pickup in advance of race day.

PARKING: Parking will be available in the neighborhoods adjacent to Lovers Point Park. There will also be parking available for buses bringing groups of children for the Schools' Competition. Stay tuned for more details.

Limits: Must be four years of age or older and in good health to participate. This is a non-competitive fun run and is not timed or scored.

SCHOOLS' COMPETITION:

Monterey County school children are invited to participate in the Schools' Competition which is an opportunity to raise money for their school. Prizes are awarded FIVE DEEP in four categories:

Highest percentage of enrollment for schools of 375 or more

Highest percentage of enrollment for schools of less than 375

Highest number of participants for schools of 375 or more

Highest number of participants for schools of less than 375
