July 3rd: King City: Stampede Arena. Fireworks start about 9:00 p.m. ($1 suggested donation)

King City hosts a number of annual and ongoing events. The Salinas Valley Fair takes place the third week of May and the Fairgrounds hosts a number of ongoing events and a weekly Sunday Flea Market. The historic downtown is the site for a number of annual parades, including the Lighted Christmas Parade on the first Friday in December and a July 4th Parade. The Blue Zone Project Community Walk takes place every Wednesday at 6 pm in the downtown. Check the City Calendar because most weekends feature some event or BBQ by one of King City’s many community organizations.
