Free Nature Program
Sundays, 9:00AM
Visit the Discovery Center on Sunday mornings and join us for a 1 hour nature talk or guided walk along one of the park’s trails. Learn about the natural history of Big Sur, including the California condor, while enjoying the cool, rippling sounds of the Big Sur River nearby. Hear more about our Condor Recovery Program from a condor tracking volunteer on the following dates: July 7, 14, 21, 28 and August 4, 18, 25. From the main parking area, look for the Ventana Wildlife Society sign and walk a short distance down the dirt road to the Discovery Center.
