Espressivo Chamber Orchestra presents Romantique – Now Performing in Monterey

Santa Cruz’s acclaimed chamber orchestra makes its local debut

Espressivo, known for its small and intense sound, brings a richly textured program of French Romantic works to Monterey and Santa Cruz. Conducted by Daniel Henriks, who also serves as Music Director for I Cantori di Carmel, this performance brings his work across the county line and into the heart of Monterey’s music community. The program includes music by Berlioz, Bizet, and Honegger, performed by outstanding musicians from across the region, many of whom also play in the I Cantori orchestra.
This is Espressivo’s first appearance in Monterey and a rare chance to hear chamber orchestra music up close in a setting that feels both intimate and inviting.
