Dancing in the Streets in Santa Cruz

For 17 years, Santa Cruz dancers have hit the streets of Downtown for Dancing in the Streets, as part of National Dance Week. Celebrate the joy of dance and the strength of our community through an unforgettable evening of free performances on three stages in the heart of Downtown Santa Cruz. Various dance classes will also be available to try out all week long.

Come to Cooper Street to watch Dancing In The Streets performances from 5PM – 9PM on Thursday, April 16, and visit Abbott Square for Afrobeats Nite until 10PM.

This year, Dancing In The Streets is also the kickoff to the new annual 11-day Ripple Effect Arts Festival!
