Cannery Row Hosts 31st Annual Holiday Tree Lighting

Cannery Row kicks off the holiday season in Monterey with its 31st Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony featuring festive family entertainment for children of all ages, and of course, the arrival of Santa Claus. This event is Friday, November 28, 2025 and is FREE to attend.
Event details:
2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Family Entertainment with a Magical Elf Performance & Balloon Artists
3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. – Carolers from I Cantori di Carmel
5:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. –Tree Lighting in Steinbeck Plaza
6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – Visit Santa Claus in his toy factory and bring a camera to take a free photo!
PARKING:
Event parking is available in the Cannery Row parking garage located at the intersection of Foam and Wave Streets.
