Yesterday, Governor Gavin Newsom announced that six additional counties, including Monterey County, will be subject to new restrictions as part of statewide actions to slow the spread of coronavirus.
The State has ordered some businesses in Monterey County to move their activities outdoors, and some businesses to close completely. Bars must close as well as indoor operations at restaurants, movie theaters, zoos & aquariums, wineries and breweries, cardamoms, and museums. which go into effect on Wednesday, July 8. The Monterey Bay Aquarium was set to reopen this week, but will be postponed due to the Governor's new public health order. The Aquarium will announce a reopen date once it is deemed safe to reopen by State and County health officials. More info: mbayaq.co/2ZJXfI
