Tiny Tot University is a preschool program for children three to five years of age. Our program is geared toward helping your child develop in a fun and creative way. The educators facilitate student led social and problem solving skills. The program includes STEAM activities, sports, sand and water play, singing and finger plays, stories, dramatic play, painting, drawing, unit block work, writing, small group activities, and opportunities for exploration.

The City of Monterey Recreation Division has been offering popular and educational preschool programs for children ages 3-5, since 1963. The Parent Center offers Parent and Child Activity Classes from birth to 5 years, and a cooperative preschool for those turning 3 by October 1st through 5 years. A cooperative preschool is one in which parents and the teacher work together in the classroom to provide a positive learning environment for children and build relationships with other families. Class sizes are a maximum of 20 students and we offer 2 to 5 days a week preschool classes depending on the child’s age. We are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and Quality Matters of Monterey County. All of our teachers hold B.A. degrees and CA State teaching credentials.
