There is nothing better for your mood than a little creativity. If sheltering in place has you feeling a little blue, making art can give you an outlet for those feelings. It's also a great time for more art time for the kids. The supplies you need are things you most likely have around the house. So, grab your supplies and find a quiet corner and get to creating!
Arty Factory has dozens of free art lessons on their site ranging from charcoal drawing to art appreciation. The lessons are clear, step by step, and appropriate for adults and for older children who can follow directions well and have some art experience. The Pen & Ink Drawing lesson is our favorite and with a little time and effort could result in a special piece of personal art.
