Archie Enjoys the Snow at Leland
Archie has been asking to play in snow since last summer. We took a 4 hour roadtrip up to Strawberry this week and stayed for a couple nights to make his snow wishes come true. There was a perfect amount of snow, the roads were clear, and the weather was beautiful. At 6,300 ft elevation, it definitely looked like a winter wonderland.
We had a lot of fun with a full day of tubing at Leland Snowplay! We met up with some friends and the kids had a blast together. We definitely made the trip out of love for Archie, because neither of his parents are big fans of the cold or snow. I can enjoy the snow for a couple of days though, as long as I get to drive back home to the beach when it's over. This was Esme's first snow experience at 17 months old. She called it "ice" and loved eating it. She was not a fan of wearing snow gear. ❄️
There were a lot of challenging things about this trip (traveling with toddlers is tough) but Esme's belly laughs tubing down the hill, and Archie's excitement about the snow and the many times he told us how much fun he was having made it all worth it.
