Archie is embarking on a huge new adventure - he’s becoming a big brother! His baby sister is due in August, a couple of weeks after he turns 4.
We finally shared the big news with him this week at a special big brother picnic in Berwick Park with a cake and gifts from the baby. He is SO excited. He loves babies and has been asking for one for a couple of months now.
I purchased ‘Grow, Baby, Grow!’ from @tessutizooIt’s a pop-up book that follows a baby’s growth throughout the months of pregnancy. Archie loves it and has had me read it about 30 times already.
He’s been talking about his baby sister a lot and always refers to her as “my baby.” He’s been explaining different ways he’ll take care of her and he generously said he’d share Mama's milk with her. When his mama had to leave for work the other day he said, “Oh, I don’t want you to take my baby to work!”
It’s safe to say that he has nothing but enthusiasm about becoming a big brother. We’re so excited to take this journey with him and I love seeing him process this big news.
