Archie Gets Creative

Archie took an artistic adventure to @ooze.studio.ca this week! I booked us a private session with Mia and we created with clay. We focused on giving Archie freedom to experiment with the materials and tools, while Mia also taught him a few techniques for working with clay. Archie created a vase for holding flowers and his various nature treasures. I like how we weren’t focused too much on making something perfect, but on jumpstarting Archie’s creative juices and helping him express himself, which is what art is all about. We had a great time “oozing” with Mia! 

Mia offers a variety of camps, classes, groups, and private sessions for kids and adults, and she can accept most any artist level and learning accommodation. Her studio is located on Carmel Valley Road next to The Wagon Wheel restaurant.
