Archie had a blast at today's 64th Annual Good Old Days Street Festival in downtown Pacific Grove. We had a FULL, fun day beginning with the parade on Pine Ave at 10 AM. After the parade, we explored all the vendor booths and admired and sampled their food and creations before hitting the rides.
Archie made the most out of his unlimited wristband ticket, and he was entertained for hours, repeating his favorite rides so many times I lost count. If your kid enjoys the festival rides as much as Archie does, the $35 unlimited ticket is worth it.
We took a break from the bustle of the crowds and the rides while taking a free movie at the Lighthouse Cinema. The theater is fundraising for its reopening next week, selling snacks and accepting donations while showing two classic free movies. We saw Gulliver’s Travels at the 3 o’clock showing. It was nice to sit down and decompress a bit before we headed back out into the street for…more rides. I finally convinced Archie we should go home at 5:30 PM. 😆
The Good Old Days festival continues tomorrow from 9-5. Lighthouse Cinema will show two free classic movies again tomorrow at 12 and 3.
